Admission Procedure and Courses
Every year in Jun -July advertisements for admission are published in the leading local dailies. ( Dharitri, Pragatibadi and Samaj) Advertisement for admission is also published in some English daily.
After the proper scrutiny of all the applications received, intimations letters are sent to parents/guardians of the candidates to appear a very formal entrance test. Tribal candidates who qualify the test only, get admission into various classes of the school.
The entrance examination is an in-house entrance test and the questions are prepared in accordance to the syllabus of various classes.
Admission into Graduation & Post-Graduation Courses
In the current year admission will be held into graduation level courses in Science, Arts, Commerce, BBA and BCA. As per the mandate preference will be given to poor tribal girl students. Like every year, the school is committed to provide free accomodation, fooding, uniform and teaching learning materials to all the graduation level students.

N.B. : Mode of instruction will be in English from Graduation to Post graduation level.
The school follows the course and syllabus as prescribed by the Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education, Government of Orissa and the prescribed course guidelines of the KIIT University, Orissa. The medium of teaching in the school is Oriya with English as a compulsory subject in all the classes. In higher classes, the medium of teaching is English. Usual school hour is from 7.00 am to 5.25 pm. The post-lunch session is from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm. This session is mainly for vocational training programmes like tailoring, computer training, phenyl making, agarbati making, carpentering, food preservation and processing, gardening, plantation, floriculture, pisciculture and animal husbandry. Besides, in vocational activities students have the choice of sports, music and yoga.
